**Labourer - Drilling Support Operative**

**Salary: up to £32,000 OTE**

Become a vital member of **Teckna Group Limited** a Geothermal & Water Borehole Drilling Company. Assist in the operation of drilling rigs and ancillary equipment in a range of site environments throughout the UK to install high quality geo-loops and/or water boreholes to industry standards and maintain the reputation of Teckna Group Limited within the industry working for domestic to government Clients.

**Main Responsibilities**

TGL are looking for a new Assistant driller / Site Labourer to be based from our Standish office. The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and Clients.

No previous experience in land drilling is necessary as this is an entry level role with great scope for promotion through to lead driller in the future, this role requires someone who enjoys working outside in a wide variety of site environments, who can.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Lead Driller
- Assist with the operation of dedicated rotary drilling rigs and associated equipment such as - mud shakers, loop installers, grouters, tele-handlers.
- Follow instruction accurately with care and precision.
- Maintain company drilling rig, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard.
- General labouring duties to assist in the installation of geo-loops or water boreholes.
- Follow company operational and health and safety procedures.

**Essential Skills Required**:

- Based out of our Standish office with frequent travel. (company van for use from the office)
- Willing to work throughout the UK and stay away overnight as contracts demand.
- Enjoys working outside in a variety of site environments
- No previous experience in this role required as fully supervised training is provided.
- Personal motivation, organisation and self-management is key to being successful
- You will possess a clean full UK driving licence, ideally with entitlement for towing and driving vehicles up to 7.5 ton, although not essential as training can be provided.
- Due to the nature of the role would suit hardworking individuals with aspirations to further develop a career in the drilling industry to gain up to NVQ Level 3 Land Drilling - Lead Driller
- Previous experience of working in either the construction or agriculture sector would be of an advantage.
- Full training/support will be given with a clear identifiable career pathway.
