**Job Title**: Site Labourer
**Location**: Wigan, Greater Manchester

**Job Type**: Full-time, Fixed-Term Contract (40 hours per week)

**Position Overview**:
**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Move construction materials to work areas.
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools (e.g., shovels, drills, saws).
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Dig trenches, pour concrete, and set up equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure safety guidelines are met.
- Help with the layout and construction of building foundations and structures.
- Perform site cleanup and assist in maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Skills, Experience, and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a labourer in a construction setting preferred
- Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
- Willingness to follow site instructions and health & safety regulations
- Valid CSCS card is desirable
- Own tools and PPE is preferred

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Competitive Hourly Rate: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, with occasional weekend work required.
- Performance bonus.
