Ada Meher are currently recruiting for a hybrid AWS DevOps Engineer role for a major UK-based infrastructure solutions provider for the broadcasting and utilities space.
This opportunity is worked on a hybrid basis, with monthly get-togethers occuring in their Central London office. This opportunity is ideal for someone who would like to work on a highly challenging proejct with an extremely talented team who love to work togetherand support each other. Further to this, career development opportunities are also available with a dedicated Learning & Development team present to aid you in your career development aspirations**Key responsibilities**:

- Develop and deploy cloud services through Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Software testing and deployment pipelines
- Peer-review code contributions
- Aid in designing solutions and adding low level detail to planned work
- Architecture, implementation, deployment and management of AWS workloads, optimising security, availability, reliability and cost efficiency
**Must haves**:

- Have experience of implementing and maintaining automation tooling to enable Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)
- Hands-on experience with AWS for 3+ years
- Have experience using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling (such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Proficient in a code version control system (such as Git)
- Demonstrable experience with JavaScript/NodeJS/TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust or another modern high-level programming language
- Be familiar with use and purpose of automated software testing frameworks
- Experience with containerisation technologies**Might haves**:

- AWS Certification: Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator
- Some experience of Database administration
- Experience working on platforms employing a Serverless and Event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with the following: AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS Fargate, RDS Aurora, API Gateway, ACM, EBS, ElastiCache, building with the CDK
- Key stakeholder management
