LV Logistics currently has an opportunity for a full time, permanent **Senior HSE Advisor **to join our dynamic team based in** LOCATION.**

**About the role**:
As our **Senior HSE Advisor, **you will provide our colleagues, key stakeholders and client with expert advice and support in mitigating risks and guiding change, you’ll gain great satisfaction from seeing the work you do benefit the lives of others.

**Key responsibilities of our Senior HSE Advisor**:

- Lead, develop, and encourage colleagues across the business in all aspects of LV Logistics safety culture
- Provide active, pro-active and reactive support in the initiation and monitoring of HSE best practices
- Bring to life monthly and quarterly reports to key stakeholders
- Support in the management, control and advice for all matters relating to safety, health and environment (HSE)
- Support staff in compliance with the contract requirements predominantly within the UK but also in support of international contracts where appropriate
- Promote active monitoring and participation
- Continual development and improvement for HSE, resulting in improved services and reduced cost
- Developing and managing local client and customer relationships and maintaining strong business relationships

**What we are looking for in our Senior HSE Advisor**:

- Proven recent experience in health, safety and risk environment with audit skills.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or NVQ level 4
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (desirable)
- Detailed knowledge of current health and safety legislation and regulations
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels.
- Engaging manner with effective coaching and influencing skills.
- Good level of IT skills including experience with MS Office, including word, excel, PowerPoint and outlook.
- The ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
- The ability to prioritise work with good organisational skills, able to work to tight deadlines, both prescribed and self-imposed.
- Able to use own initiative and be resourceful.
