**W**e are recruiting for an experienced Fire Safety Advisor for a 2-3 month contract.

The position will be on site working for a NHS authority with some travel to local facilities as well. Hours are typically 9am - 5pm but this may vary from time to time depending on specialist requirements.

You will work closely with the facilities management team and provide expert fire safety advice. You will play a key role in advising, developing and implementing systems to ensure compliance and legislation are maintained.

The reason for the vacancy is due to a back log and therefore requires someone who can hit the ground running and support with immediate changes/recommendations.

The role reports directly to the fire manager.

Skills/Experience:

- Experience analysing fire safety drawings, fire risks and defences
- Able to product clear and concise reports
- Fire safety management degree - ideal
- Experience at senior level
- CFPA or equivalent
- Extensive experience in building design and fire safety regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- NEBOSH

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: Up to £50,000.00 per year
