**Salary** - £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

**Role**

We’re looking for an experienced, ambitious and talented designer to join the growing entrepreneurial team. You’ll be expected to lead and develop the team working with autonomy and drive to help shape them into highly performing and effective individuals.

We’re looking for someone who can create compelling and consistent customer experience turning business requirements into innovative and inspiring creative concepts which deliver results. A sound commercial awareness and experience of best practice in terms of design and UX will be essential in helping you deliver on the above.

As a confident and compelling communicator, you’ll be adept at sharing your expertise with the wider team across design and marketing to ensure Best Practice methodology is understood and promoted throughout the business.

You’ll make a real difference to the patients and customers we serve by helping to deliver excellent patient experiences across all our digital touchpoints.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop UX concepts, visual identities and visual styles that fit specific target audiences. You’ll work with our developers to understand what can be feasibly built.
- Ensure brand consistency across all design creative.
- Lead by example in terms of professionalism, attitude and quality of output.
- Take ownership of key projects delivering high quality work on time and to brief.
- Challenge, motivate and inspire others to ensure we create an efficient, high performing unit.
- Provide regular feedback, support and inspiration to all team members.
- Act as a senior point of contact within the business for design queries, championing the department to internal and external stakeholders, promoting a best practice approach.
- Offer fresh ideas - alongside the creation and sharing of concepts in-line with established branding - for feedback and development within the team.
- Help to scope projects and propose the best solutions based on available budget and resource.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's workflow and skill set.
- Proactively improve interdepartmental workflows, relationships and communications.

- A proven ability to thinking critically to about artwork to assess its effectiveness.
- Experience of working in a pressured environment, delivering against tight deadlines
- You'll have an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and you'll be a team player who is a natural collaborator - enjoying working with others to produce the best possible creative outcome.
- You'll have a knock-out portfolio of design work that you're proud of and happy to talk through at interview.
- Experience of working in a highly accurate environment
- Working with Photographers or interest in photography a bonus
- Knowledge of motion graphics using Adobe Animate and/or After Effects a bonus
