Our client, is a market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK and Europe. We are seeking for an Senior Stores Manager of their client's stores based in Daventry, Northampton
**About the role**:
The Senior Stores Manager will be responsible for ensuring we deliver exceptional service to our clients within our integrated stores solutions by leading & directing the daily operations of the Stores and Stores personnel. Responsible for the coaching, mentoringand development of Stores Managers. The role will be responsible for delivering operational excellence in the stores.
**Job duties**:

- To supervise the day-to-day duties of the Stores Manager and the stores personnel, ensuring the stores team deliver and achieve of all store's applicable performance metrics, ie. stock checks, stock accuracy, site support, goods receipt and processing.
- Ensuring correct people management processes are followed and managed in line with HR process and policy.
- Coaching, mentoring and development of Stores Managers.
- Based in Daventry with monthly travel to Darlington and Huddersfield to pull on best practice and identify multi-site projects and opportunities.
- Initial point of escalation for Stores Managers.
- Monthly analysis of Direct Costs and People costs v budget numbers.
- Payroll and overtime authorisation and monthly reporting.
- Spend analysis and project identification.
- To ensure the stores achieve and maintain gold level OpEx.
- To ensure the daily operations of the Stores are in line with Company process(es) and procedures.
- To monitor compliance with Health and Safety within site operations and to ensure adherence to the Company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
- To understand and respond to the needs of the Client to maintain exceptional service delivery.
- To lead and direct the operations of the Stores to maintain and improve day to day efficiencies for the Company and the Client.
- To attend senior site meetings concerning any issue(s) within the Stores and to follow up according.
- To identify cost saving measures of which will benefit the Client.
- To cover other stores roles as and when required.
- To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the job role.
**About you**:
Experience of delivering strong measurable results in an operational/stores management environment
- Ability to lead a team to deliver strong results
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long term relationships with clients and stakeholders at site level.
- Can do attitude - the ambition and drive to challenge, deliver excellence and be positive about change
- Excellent IT skills with proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft
- Excel
- Experience of the use of store operating management systems
