We now have a rare opportunity for an Operations Assistant to join our Specialist Brands team in our Market Harborough office on a part time basis. This is an office based role working 13 hours a week ideally across two days in a week. The specific days can be mutually agreed. **The Role**: This is an Operations Assistant role within the Specialist Brands area which includes Rail, River & Bridge tour operations and logistics, working alongside and supporting the Operations Manager. **Key Responsibilities and accountabilities**: - Producing and sending accurate documents to customers and suppliers, meeting deadlines to tour departure dates - Handling Eurostar Seating, flight administration, and overnight hotel bookings for Rail and River tours - Effectively liaising with suppliers - Supporting our Contact Centre and Account Management Team with customer cases - Maintaining order and keeping stock of tour material and equipment - Reviewing and administering invoices for processing **Requirements**: - Must have a good level of literacy and numeracy - High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Able to effectively prioritise and meet deadlines - Confident in working on own initiative, as well as working as part of a close-knit team - General computer proficiency and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel **Experience**: - Experience in the travel industry would be an advantage but is not essential - Previous work experience in an office environment
