Home Instead (Altrincham, Sale & Wythenshawe) are looking for experienced Live-In Carers (CAREGivers) to provide support and companionship to our elderly clients in their own home and allow them to live well and independently.
Our Live In Carers provide a variety of non-medical services: Home Help, Companionship, Personal Care, Dementia Support, Medication Support, Meals & Hydration
**Responsibilities**
- Meal preparation
- Medication support
- General house duties
- Personal care
- Outings/ appointments
- Document daily activities and report any changes or causes for concern in a client’s needs or living conditions on our app.
- Maintain regular communication with line manager and office staff.
- Know when to seek help and advice for their clients safety and wellbeing.

**Job Description**:
If you are kind & compassionate and love caring on a one to one basis then we are looking for Live in Carers like you. For our Live in packages you will have experience of caring for clients in their own homes and ideally experience supporting people with dementia/ Alzheimer's or with mobility needs.
The role of a Live In Carer is varied and you are in an amazing position to really make a difference to our client's lives, encouraging them, supporting, listening and caring. Our Live in carers provide friendly one to one companionship, helping around the home, cooking fresh meals and taking out to appointments/ outings.
As a Live in Carer we value a range of experiences, some of our clients have dementia or Alzheimer's and we can offer training to support with this. You will be familiar with different types of support equipment to aid mobility, including wheelchairs.
Ideally you will be a driver as many of our clients like to get out to the shops or appointments or to socialise
Along with Live In care packages we are keen to speak to anyone that is flexible in their hours and could potentially support with some daytime calls, overnight sleepovers, and waking nights.
**Competitive weekly rates from £770 per week to £1050 per week**
**£55 Food allowance**
**Flexible to weekly/fortnightly /monthly working patterns**
**2 Hr Break cover**
**Ongoing training & Support.**
**Qualifications**:
- Live-in Care Experience with the Elderly
- Kind and compassionate nature
- Flexibility & reliability
- DBS Update Service or Enhanced DBS Application
- Smart phone to use our CAREGiver app to log daily activities and report any changes in your client
Additional Information
As a Live In Carer you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
