We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to work in our Mental Health In-Reach Team in HMP Bedford. This is an ideal opportunity for a nurse who is looking to either develop their prison nursing career or diversify their career within this dynamic and challenging area of Nursing.

HMPBedfordis a Remand Category B male prison in Bedfordshire and the Mental Health Team works within the community model for both primary and secondary services. You will be working within an integral part ofa multi-disciplinary team (nurses, social worker, psychologists and assistant psychology) providing care to inmates within amedium security establishment. The primary focus of this post will be to deliver the highest standard of care required to meet the diverse and complex mental healthcare needs of an adult male population.
