Lettings Negotiator
A highly respected independently owned Estate Agents are currently seeking a Lettings Negotiator to join them, based in their Maidstone office.
Working with a highly experienced and professional team, you will be responsible for letting a range of local properties in and around the Maidstone area.
Properties include everything from starter properties in town to large farms/country properties in the surrounding villages.
The successful Lettings Negotiator will be responsible for duties such as (but not limited to):

- Liaising between tenants and landlords to negotiate terms of tenancy and renewals when applicable
- Managing client paperwork and bookings with all required information
- Assisting in office organisation and registration of tenants
- Matching tenants to the right properties and providing them with property information
- Promoting properties to tenants using various marketing techniques
- Keeping your Line Manager updated on all progress and problems
- Removing properties from the market when they are let agreed
- Ensuring that all properties adhere to proper health and safety standards

The successful Lettings Negotiator will offer the following background/skill set:

- At least 12 months experience within Estate Agency & Lettings
- Solid communication skills - both written and verbal
- A keen team player
- Driven and motivated by success
- Strong negotiation skills
- Smart and presentable appearance
- ARLA qualification preferred (or in the process) - help with examinations are available if not already undertaken

Working hours:

- 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday (+ alternate Saturdays, with a day off in lieu).

**Salary**:

- Up to £25,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)
- Uncapped team-based commission structure, ensuring a collaborative and supportive culture.

Car:

- Pool car available
