A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a **_Warehouse Coordinator_** at a Leicester based publishing company.

You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the efficient workflow through the warehouse and will ensure that any concerns are reported to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Co-ordinator will be:

- It is the responsibility of the post holder to ensure that they fully understand and have knowledge of all procedures and activities within the Warehouse i.e., Large Print, Audio, Picking, Processing, and Despatch.
- Responsibility to ensure that efficient and effective administrative standard operating procedures (SOP's) are fully understood, maintained, and followed in accordance with the Warehouse Administration Procedures Manual.
- To ensure that any changes made and agreed to standard operating procedures (SOP's) are understood and appropriate action taken as required.
- To order, replenish and maintain warehouse stationary and associated warehouse materials at all times. Upon receipt, check off and store.
- To attend Team meetings as requested by the Operations Manager and be responsible for the taking and typing up of notes and distribute accordingly.
- To be aware of all health and safety systems and maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse in accordance with Health and Safety regulations and those indicated in the Company's Health and Safety Policy.
- To develop and maintain effective communications with all sections (both written and verbal) and ensure that any instructions given are understood fully by the recipients.
- It is the responsibility of the post holder to ensure that they fully understand and are competent in the use of all aspects of the Company's bespoke computer system.
- To have a personal awareness of own training needs and to raise these with the Operations Manager.
- Be able to train operatives within the various functions within the Warehouse.
- It is essential that you have good computer skills, are competent in the use of excel and word and have excellent communication skill.
- We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, able to work within a team, reliable and hardworking and displays a flexible, willing, and adaptable attitude.

This is a permanent role, starting salary £22,000 depending on experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 and 1hr lunch break (37.5hrs per week)
