**~ Head of Housing Solutions ~**

**Spencer Clarke Group** are working in partnership with **Runnymede Borough Council **who are looking for an** Head of Housing Solutions** to join their **Homelessness Service.**

They are looking for someone to lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the Council complies with its statutory duties.

Ensure that the prevention of homelessness strategies are dynamic and result in increased tenancy sustainment.

Ensure that officers within the Housing Solutions Team are adequately trained and supported to provide both a comprehensive front line service and the in depth investigations and decisions required by legislation.

**Contract;**
- **Contract Length**: 3 - 6 months with a view to extend to an ongoing contract.
- **Pay Rate**: £27+ per hour (negotiable depending on your experience).
- **Location**: KT15 2AH, Addlestone.
- **Working Hours**: 37 Hours per week.
- **Start date**: ASAP.

**Main Duties;**
- Manage the Allocations process to ensure the service operates in accordance with the current Allocations Scheme and monitor the service regularly, reporting when necessary to senior management and Members on trends and profiles to project housing need.
- Identify areas of concern and plan a course of action where necessary.
- Manage the provision of the Housing Solutions Service to comply with the requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and other associated legislation and guidance.
- Manage the use of emergency (B&B) and temporary accommodation, reporting when necessary to senior management and Members on the costs of such provision and strategies for minimising this.
