HR and Recruitment Officer

Join Our Place Group as a full-time HR & Recruitment Officer, contributing 40 hours per week to our dynamic office-based team. Our organisation comprises a Residential Children's home and a Special School, dedicated to providing a nurturing and secure environment for young people with complex needs, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.
As the HR and Recruitment Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high level HR advice services to our employees. This encompasses all HR aspects, including recruitment, and overseeing day-to-day operational activities within the department. A minimum of CIPD Level 3 is required for this position, Level 5 is preferred.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive support and guidance on HR matters, offering coaching when needed.
- Assist in Employee Relations matters through notetaking or delegating notetakers.
- Handle all HR affairs reliably and confidentially.
- Support the management of employee absence and wellbeing within Our Place Group.
- Provide monthly information to the Finance department regarding pay variations, sickness absences, new starters, and leavers.
- Gather information and produce monthly Business Unit Reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Promptly highlight any areas of concern regarding Absence and Performance to Line Managers.
- Coordinate the Recruitment function, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Ensure Safer Recruitment training is provided and consistently followed.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
