**The company**:
My client is a Property Development and Management firm based in London N14, working with local authorities to provide solutions for their social housing needs, under different schemes, with a strong reputation for quality and excellence in their field.

**The Role**:
The S&P Private Rented Sector (PRS) access scheme assists those in housing need to access private-rented accommodation to create long term, sustainable tenancies. Key to the scheme’s success will be the support clients receive when preparing to move into their new property, as well as continued support throughout the term of the tenancy. Also important is the working partnership with local authority clients to deliver an effective service.

**Main Duties**:

- coordinate all viewings & Sign ups sent via Charities / Councils.
- To review assessments of clients’ readiness to sustain PRS accommodation
- Conducting viewings with prospective tenants
- To support clients to ensure they remain engaged in the process of maintaining their tenancy and support them in keeping realistic expectations
- Completing all necessary documentation for prospective tenants
- Tenancy sustainment, support and debt advice
- Completing welfare checks.
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all records
- Provide timely and highly quality written and verbal communications.
- Work with colleagues to develop cross-departmental solutions.
- Ensure all databases and management software systems are updated promptly and to a good standard allowing for other colleagues to understand entries and update customers when enquiries are made.

**Skills & Knowledge required**
- Ability to identify and make assessments in respect of clients related to their housing needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Excellent working knowledge of the private rented sector in England, specifically how it provides a housing option for low income households
- Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high pressured environment
- Close attention to detail
- A proficiency in the use of MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and Sage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good practice and legislative knowledge relating to income recovery and different tenure types
- Strong team ethic, with the proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team or independently with individuals at all levels
- Working on own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team
- Financial and general administration
- Problem solving where tenancy sustainment is threatened
- Empathy with and an understanding of the needs of homeless people
- Knowledge of the benefits system in relation to members living in PRS accommodation

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
