The Role of Team Leader**
- To develop new services according to needs arising from the forthcoming referrals from GP surgeries. Relationship management with surgeries and the PCN leads (Wellingborough and East Northants) and leading on the development, delivery, and continual improvement of groupwork sessions in response to the large scale volume of surgery referrals.
- To provide necessary and appropriate support/cover where needed and to ensure protocol relating to safeguarding is followed.
- To actively work with Northamptonshire Carers volunteer recruitment, encouraging clients to become volunteers and ensure the necessary checks and support are in place
- To form close links and partnership working relationships with services and organisations within the delivery area, for the benefit of clients and their families eg Community Services, Voluntary Sector, housing etc.
- To take an empowerment approach in working with service users using the service and also with staff in the team.
- To provide presentations and training relating to awareness of services if manager not available.
- To be competent in IT systems, preferably knowledge of Theseus, to maintain records, collect statistical data, provide reports, and store and share information in accordance with requirements of the post, Northamptonshire Carers policies and protocols and the General Data Protect Rules (GDPR)
- To promote, understand and develop knowledge of the protected characteristics in the Equality Act 2010 and ensure that is embedded in all practice.

We are seeking someone who is open
- minded, non judgmental, respectful attitude together with an ability to easily create partnerships based on mutual respect and trust. You will have experience of leading volunteers and/or staff, alongside service development and managing contractual relationships.
