**Mental Health Support Worker**

Claimont Health is supporting a Client as part of a life-long package of care. We are recruiting a team of highly experienced Mental Health Support Workers to work alongside this Client.

The successful applicants will be able to build confidence and promote the independence of the Client, providing the assistance and support needed according to the current care plan. Experience of working with Bilateral upper extremity amputation would be an advantage. The Client is very keen to be involved in their own care plan at every stage. Interaction with the family will be essential in maintaining the continuity of care.

You will have a robust working knowledge of mental health and have the capacity and confidence to work with other clinical professionals in support of the care plan. There will be an element of personal care. This position would suit individuals who are flexible, and happy to assist within the remits of personal assistance.

You will be expected to take the client to medical appointments and for recreational purposes. Therefore, a full and clean driving licence will be essential.

This role consists of a team of Mental Health Support Workers doing live-in support on a 1:1 rotational basis.

**What do we need from you?**
- 2 years or more experience as a Mental Health Support Worker
- Flexibility, maturity, and independence to work towards high professional standards set by the Company
- Commitment to delivering Client specific care
- Adaptable approach to support Clients and family members
- Ability to maintain clear professional boundaries within a home setting
