The CFO has recently launched a new organisation structure, which has presented an opportunity for 2 high profile, business centric Assistant Senior Finance Business Partner roles to join the team.

The post holders will provide management information and support to Faculty and Directorate Senior Management Teams to help them to plan and manage their financial performance. The post holder will support the Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) to deliver exceptional finance business partnering support to their portfolio of Faculties and/or Directorates, providing initial decision support and insight on financial performance.

This is an exciting time to join the University, which is embarking on an ambitious strategy - This is Our Time Strategy 2030 - to become the best modern University in the UK. These roles are pivotal to ensuring the financial sustainability embodied in the strategy. A successful applicant will need to have a CCAB qualified or part qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement. You will have significant experience of working with senior management and stakeholders to deliver effective finance partnering. You will have prior experience of sizeable finance teams, and excellent communication skills.
