**What you’ll be doing**
The **Regulatory Investigations Manager** is an integral role, acting as the project manager to ensure that all regulatory investigations are delivered in a timely, high-quality manner, consistent with our external reporting standards.
- Project manage all investigations launched by our regulators, ensuring that the submission is timely and of high quality, consistent with our external reporting standards. (not including investigations on HSE or data/GDPR as these are managed by other teams)
- Ensure that all submissions are managed so as to reduce corporate risk of investigatory penalty and seek to find opportunities within investigations to better deliver our customer’s priorities
- Working with peers across the organisation, and especially in Engineering & Asset, ensure that all submission components are delivered on time and that each member of the wider team understands the expectations of them
- Maintain the delivery programme, ensuring that key dates and deliverables are communicated and managed effectively
- Overseeing that all submissions are appropriately assured, reviewed by management, and signed off by senior management including the Executive and Board as appropriate
- Working with external partners, such as legal entities, to ensure that supporting documentation for submissions is available, assured and submitted as appropriate
- Taking ownership of responding to the Gateway sign-off process

**What you will bring to the role?**:

- Previous experience in utility regulation, obtained in the water industry or a similar asset management industry, including an understanding of the delivery regulatory submissions.
- Strong project management skills, and experience in operating a system of project controls, in a project management environment.
- Highly effective communication skills to engage effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, manage others and gain cooperation, where necessary, to deliver strategic commercial and regulatory outcomes.
- High levels of influencing and collaborative skills in working with a wide variety of personnel from different backgrounds and with diverse roles within the business, including at senior levels.
- Able to demonstrate that you can deliver on time within tight deadlines and to budget, and work within corporate governance procedures
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
- Expertise in some or all Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
