**Senior Workplace Investigations Consultant**

Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

**Salary**: £42,050 - £60,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

We are looking to appoint a Senior Workplace Investigations Consultant to conduct the investigation process, end to end. The role will focus on delivery of high-quality investigation services to the business working with peers and appropriate stakeholders;providing the relevant expertise; ensuring high quality report writing is produced.

Key Accountabilities include:

- Carry out Management investigations in consultation with appropriate stakeholders to ensure a thorough and fair investigative process is carried out
- Work directly within but independently from the HR Function to ensure that appropriate investigations are carried out in compliance with legislation and company policy/procedures
- Manage issues that are highly confidential and may raise significant financial, legal, or reputational risk to the organisation
- Conduct and manage significant and time sensitive investigations across multiple functional areas
- Analyse information collected and reach timely unbiased conclusions and findings whilst effectively assessing witness credibility
- Generate professional, well-drafted investigation records, plans and reports
- Ensure local work instructions are followed to maintain process compliance (with regard to legal, regulatory and internal requirements) and quality
- Maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal and external colleagues and customers, ensuring process hand-offs are properly executed
- Maintain understanding of up to date employment regulations, applicable laws and Company policy

To be successful in this role you should have:

- Previous and demonstrable experience of providing Investigation services
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality while conducting challenging or difficult conversations with all levels of the organisation
- Ability to understand and dissect complex cases/issues, use innovative thinking and determine the most effective and efficient way to investigate allegations in accordance with relevant company policy
- Ability to review and prepare fit for purpose investigation reports and confidence to brief stakeholders, including Senior Management, on investigation findings
- Ability to demonstrate excellent decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and organisational skills
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills
- Unquestionable integrity, strong work ethics and alignment with AWE values
- Ability to professionally and respectfully deal with individuals involved in investigations
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation skills
