**JOB SUMMARY**
We are currently looking for a Planner to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work alongside the Commercial and Site management teams and will be responsible for developing programmes for our highway’s projects.

**Required Critical Behaviours**
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Planning Software, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of CDM Regulations
- Excellent IT skills
- Experience of report writing and data analysis, with a quick-thinking approach to cover certain scenarios
- Strong communication and presenting skills at all levels
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Commercial awareness
- Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Full Driving licence

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop programmes under NEC form of contract
- Update programmes and creating impact programmes based on CE’s and change
- Travelling to other sites to attend meetings
- Liaise with senior stakeholders, internally and externally, updating the strategic programme
- Deliver an accurate and timely planning project, including relevant milestones such as key dates, stretch targets and critical path analysis
- Monitor the progress of works, and if necessary, develop an appropriate action plan if works are falling behind programme
- Provide weekly reporting to show relevant information such as current progress, any risks encountered or forecasted, incurred costs
- Track and control any changes and deviations to the delivery programme
