Customer Advisor - Working from home - 1 day in the office.
£27,000 rising to £30,000 after 6 months and £34,000 after 2 years.
UK Staffing Group are currently looking for talented customer advisors to join an exciting rapidly growing company based in Manchester. The role can be performed at home with 1 office visit a week. Hours are 8am-5pm or 11am-8pm Monday - Friday. You will work only 1 weekend day every 8 weeks 10am 4pm and will get the following Friday off.
Our client has recently secured a large government contract to deliver debt support and advice to clients in need and we’re looking for empathic, personable people who enjoy helping those most vulnerable. You will not be hard selling or cold calling, you will take a soft approach to advise on the best solutions for each clients circumstances.

Full training is on offer, so if you’ve not worked as a Debt Advice Specialist, their intuitive training programme will provide you with all the skills to start making a positive difference for families and their financial situation. You will also gain a recognised accreditation in Debt Advising when completing the training. The training period is 8-12 weeks and will require you onsite for 3 days until this is completed, the other 2 days will be working from home.
The business have a flexible approach to work where quality of service and job satisfaction are prioritised above anything else. This has allowed the current work force to take advantage of working from home with 1 day in the office per week. The office is based in Trafford Park, Manchester and free parking is available.
**Job Role & Requirements**:
The successful Debt Advice Specialists will be comfortable with a telephone based role speaking with a range of people day to day. You will assess the circumstances and discuss the full range of options available to them. You will make a suitable recommendation on an appropriate debt solution and budgeting that will help them to become debt free and build financial resilience.
- Customer advisor or customer service experience 3+ years
- Experience within a financial industry preferred but not essential.
- Highly personable, empathetic and compassionate characteristics important.
- Strong and confident communicator with fluent English language skills.
- Good IT skills, competent with a range computer systems.
- Driven, self-motivated and disciplined.
- Good maths and numeracy skills.
