**Production Engineer - Based in Diss, Norfolk - £26,000 - £36,000 per annum DOE - Permanent**

Hales Group are currently recruiting for a Production Engineer to join our client based in Diss, Norfolk. The successful applicant will be providing technical support to the company teams and ensuring optimum efficiency throughout production.

Hours: 8.30am till 5.00pm

Monday to Friday

£26,000- £36,000 per annum DOE

**Main Duties, but not limited to**:

- To provide technical support to various departments throughout production with planned and reactive maintenance.
- Work strictly in accordance with the tool setting Work Instruction, number WI.25
- To carry out tool optimisations as and when required, to ensure correct mouldings are produced by the use of optimum conditions.
- To actively participate and implement projects/initiatives as required.
- To actively improve the cost effectiveness of the business by inspecting machines.
- Report any changes to job specifications and production procedures, which may have an operational impact.
- To provide technical support and training to the production teams as required.
- Be responsible to reporting to the senior manager on site.
- Attend regular meetings with the Production, QA and Technical departments to identify problems in current and forthcoming production.
- Actively participate and lead in training and development programmes as required by your manager.
- Maintain active inter-departmental co-ordination, communication and co-operation.
- Work in compliance with all H&SE statutory rules and regulations.

**Key requirements**:

- Experience in moulding machines desirable, but not essential.
- Methodical approach to work is essential.
- Good communication.
- Must be flexible to cover holiday's and sickness.
