Content Editor

We have exciting opportunities in both our Sports and Network teams for a **Content Editor** to produce and post best in class social media content, edit video content and create quality thumbnails. Both roles work across their portfolios of brands on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.
**For our Sports Team** we are looking for someone with a love for sports (mainstream or niche) to handle the upload of videos to social media platforms and implementation of metadata and thumbnails according to best practices. This role also involves management of the materials library and deliveries from clients. Due to the nature of sporting content, there is an expectation to work regular weekends.

**HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME**
- Video editing on a daily basis and creation of images/designs to be posted to YouTube and social media platforms.
- Take on day to day channel management of one or more key channels, including taking responsibility for examining analytics and suggesting actionable insights.
- Actively contribute to the content strategy for managed channels and collaborate on consistent schedules with the senior scheduling team / line manager.
- Work with Junior Content Editors and the Social Media & Community Manager to conceive and execute the absolute best social media content across a number of brands.
- Copywriting and optimisation of content to maximise performance and engagement.
- Take ownership of bespoke thumbnail creation and SEO-optimised metadata to engage with existing and new audiences.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.
- Proficient in the Adobe Suite (especially Premiere Pro and Photoshop. Motion graphics experience is desirable but not essential)
- Ability to juggle multiple requests from different clients and stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of Social media platforms. You would ideally use them and know what makes them tick
- Strong copywriting skills. You will make headlines pop and identity the strongest hook for each video
- Excellent organisational skills.
