Project Assistant

**About the role**

The Booker Group are a national wholesaler serving 100k retailers and 450k caterers and a million small businesses.We work with our in house Retail/catering teams and external supplier partners to deliver a range of projects that result in a better customerjourney and improved customer satisfaction across all digital platforms.We are looking for an innovative and resourceful project manager assistant who has a real aptitude for technology and has a sound working knowledge of using Adobe creative suite/Powerpoint/Projectmanagement software.

**Role Responsibility**

In this varied and fast paced role you will be responsible for:

- Assisting the web manager in all aspects of project planning, coordination of project tasks and a wide array of administrative and management tasks.
- Owning your own day and organising yourself in an efficient manner whilst being able to listen to direction and take on board any team objectives.
- Designing powerful digital content/presentations that support our online proposition and assists in delivering online projects for our stakeholders.
- Creating briefs for agencies to develop web pages that will drive a better user experience.
- Create briefs for our development team to build into digital products - such as the website’s pages and digital platforms.
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders and external design agencies for key messaging and content.
- Ensuring brand adherence, consistency of key messages and focus on agreed initiatives and activity by the retail, catering and small business teams.
- Supporting and assisting the wider digital team on other duties as and when required.

**You will need**

To be successful in this role you will need to display a genuine interest in the web and be customer focused.Must possess good organisational and communication skills, a self-starter with a positive attitude and a keen eye for attention to detail.Youwill be adaptable and committed to self-development and assist the digital team in administering and maintaining projects that will deliver a better digital customer experience.You will get many hours of 1-on-1 coaching/mentorship with experienced team members.You get hands-on experience working in a fast-paced online B2B/B2C marketing environment.
- 2 years + experience in a graphics/assistant project manager role.
- Experience generating content for eCommerce brands
- Experienced and confident with video editing
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere & After Effects), Powerpoint and a project management software.
- Brilliant layout and typography skills, with a meticulous eye for detail and ability to easily liaise between print and digital artwork
- Skilled designing/animating for paid media (Social + Motion Graphic Ads).
- Excellent retouching skills & colour correction
- Ability to work under pressure
- Maintain a good level of communication with team members
- Strong organisation skills ensure you keep a comprehensive, trackable list of jobs and deadlines
