About the Company
We are working with a leading independent Pharmaceutical market research agency. They have an excellent reputation for delivery a range of bespoke and syndicated full-service research to global clients and have a great name within the industry. They arelooking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join their syndicated Patient Research team.
About the Role
The Senior Business Development Executive will be responsible for supporting sales activity for the senior team. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, they will be responsible for:
- building a pipeline of new business opportunities;
- lead generation and appointment setting;
- entering and maintaining contact information in CRM database, and using social media and online tools such as LinkedIn to find and verify new contacts;
- creating and tailoring credentials presentations to fit prospective client’s requests and interests;
- presenting key credentials to clients;
- maintaining constant familiarisation of product offerings and developments.
About You
For the Senior Business Development Executive role, our client is looking for somebody who is personable and proactive. They will need:
- at least 12 months experience in a Business Development role in a research, consulting or professional services business;
- a demonstrable track record of success in pre-sales;
- excellent communication skills;
- proficient with database systems or a willingness to learn in this area;
Additional languages would be an advantage and a knowledge or understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry would be very useful.
On offer is a basic salary is up to £30,000 and on top of this there would be an expected bonus of £6000 (but this is not capped).
