Multi Skilled Tradesperson

**Multi Skilled Tradesperson Responsibilities**:
**As a Multi skilled Tradesperson, a typical day might include**:

- Installing a wetroom room from start to finish, widening doors or building ramps - this is just a flavour of the great work we do to help our customers stay living independently
- To work as a member of the Acis HomePlus team to ensure that disabled adaptation works are carried out to a high quality and cost-effective standard
- Undertaking a full range of installations and adaptations, with the emphasis on multi-skilled approach. Works will involve a wide range of construction activities
- Be part of this team to help us grow Acis HomePlus, identifying opportunities to deliver a better service and work differently
- Delivery of a high-quality services to customers; including a range of repairs, installations, maintenance, painting, gardening, cleaning, and assembly projects
- Ensure that the correct materials are at the right place at the right time to deliver what’s required and provide a seamless service for our customers
- Work unsupervised in occupied and unoccupied properties and ensuring tools and equipment are used safely
- To liaise with customers and the wider HomePlus team to ensure jobs are completed on time, to budget and to a high standard
- Carry out work activities in line with policies, procedures, risk assessments, high quality standards and in accordance with Building Regulations
- To acquire and maintain a full tool kit to enable all reasonable duties to be undertaken
- Lifting of materials and component part, tool kits, ladders, power tools
- Fitting of materials and component parts in confined spaces and often in awkward posture

**Multi Skilled Tradesperson Requirements**:

- You will have a recognised apprenticeship or trade qualification (eg City & Guilds, NVQ level 2, or equivalent) or confirmed time served skills
- A Joinery based background with the ability to complete plumbing work, Tiling and patch plastering (Wet room experience is a benefit)
- You will have a minimum recognised four years’ experience within the construction industry with a multi skilled approach across trades
- A full valid UK Driving Licence and CSCS card
- Great understanding of the construction industry, in particular the building trade, including legislation, Health and Safety, manual handling, working at heights and so on
- Ability to carry out secondary building maintenance skills such as joinery and plastering, alongside wider maintenance activities.
- Understanding and appreciation of the needs of older, disabled and vulnerable individuals and households

**Salary**: Starting at £26,914.80 - £29,111.92 per annum, depending on experience
