It’s time to join our team and help build more sustainable environments We are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join us in Doncaster. About the RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance activities in line with equipment and schedule attainment, developing new activities where and when required, whilst always taking into consideration health and safety standards and legislation. The role also includes project work and will support the Lead Engineers in maintaining plant and equipment, customer service requirements and required OEE. Conduct day to day maintenance activities, maintaining machine availabilityConduct proactive work including PPM and improvement workActively and analytically fault findContribute to implementing new working methods and actively participate in continuous improvementInvolvement in site projectsMaintain maintenance monitoringOperate in line with all health and safety standardsImplement and adhere to safe working practices in accordance with legislationSupport the Lead Engineers in implementing workplace organisation across the engineering departmentMentor Apprentices within the Maintenance departmentTo attend daily engineering steering, weekly RCA and monthly energy meetingsAbout YouQualified Engineer with experience in a manufacturing environment (electrical bias preferred)Strong technical knowledge of: Injection Moulding, Extrusion and Automated Assembly SystemsExcellent communication skills across all mediums, with the ability to engage multiple stakeholdersStrong organisational and prioritisation abilitiesHigh degree of flexibility to meet business needsWhy Join UsAt Wavin, you’ll be part of a global network of innovators and problem-solvers, united by a shared purpose: to advance life around the world.
