Active Pathways are currently recruiting for a compassionate Head Housekeeper Cook to join Millcroft in Seacroft, Leeds**_. _**This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team ensuring the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

Your role as a House Keeper / Cook is dynamic and meaningful. You will ensure high quality housekeeping and cooking. You will supervise the housekeeper/ cook team to contribute to a seamless function to the service and the care and operational effectiveness of the home. You will also manage the cleaning standards, including specialist knowledge and adhering to the latest Health & Safety, COSHH and infection control procedures.

- Work in partnership to achieve service objectives and promote a positive climate and culture of working together through good communication, openness, honesty, and respect.
- Promote positive working relationships with team colleagues in order to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Exercise good personal time management, punctuality, and consistent reliable attendance.

**Desired experience**:

- Knowledge and experience of working within a health and social care setting
- Understanding of supervisions and creating rotas, as well as a knowledge of managing and running a team
- Experience in ordering stock as well carrying out monthly stock checks
