Painter/decorator

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and clean surfaces using methods such as scraping, sanding, and steam-cleaning; remove old wallpaper and paint.
- Repair cracks and holes in walls, ceilings, and trim.
- Mix and match paint and other finishes to achieve the desired color and texture.
- Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide cost estimates.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Painter Decorator.
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent knowledge of painting and finishing techniques.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in painting and decorating are desirable.
