We're looking for our first UK **Customer Onboarding Specialist** to provide new customers with the best onboarding experience and a memorable first impression of Scaleup Finance
**The job**:
If you love finance, customer communication and fast-growing companies, then we would love to speak to you. As a **Customer Onboarding Specialist** at Scaleup Finance, you will be at the forefront of the customer journey, working with start-ups and scale-up companies from a wide variety of industries.
You will be responsible for owning the onboarding process for your client portfolio, ensuring our finance team has all the information they need to successfully manage the client's financial needs from their official start date. As well as providing our clients with a smooth, easy and informative onboarding journey.
The onboarding team at Scaleup Finance values customer-centricity and the strong desire and urgency to go above and beyond for all our clients.
We have a digital mindset and constantly try to optimise our processes through digital solutions. Both internally and externally.
**Tasks**:
- Owning the onboarding journey for your client portfolio.
- Coordinate and execute onboarding kickoff meetings with clients.
- Client Financial system set up including bank, Xero and others.
- Update client information in internal systems such as Hubspot, asana and notion.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product and Finance teams to aid product discovery and development by being the voice of the client and championing their needs and pain points.
- Find blind spots in our onboarding processes and practices to improve customer experience.
- Create and update guide material for both internal and external onboarding.
- Educate customers and colleagues on best practices within Scaleup Finance.
- Act as a support to our finance team, aiding them with system set-up questions or issues.
**Skills**:
- Experience from a SaaS startup or scale-up in Customer Success, Customer Support or onboarding is a great advantage.
- Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal.
- Outstanding relationship-building skills.
- A customer-centric and service-oriented personality.
- A self-driven and proactive team player who constantly seeks to go above and beyond for the company and our clients.
- Tech-savvy and experience in working with a variety of systems. Primarily finance-based software.
- Highly detail-oriented and the ability to multitask is a must.
