**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of meals and ingredients, ensuring all food is prepared according to recipes and specifications.
- Support chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper storage of ingredients and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to senior kitchen staff.
- Assist in catering events as required, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or catering setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and helping others within the culinary field.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the kitchen schedule.
- You will need a DBS

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
