**Hours**: 40 Hours per week (30mins Lunch)

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a practical, detail-oriented individual to join our workshop team as a **Sliding Wardrobe Door Builder / MFC Workshop Preparation Operative**. This hands-on role involves the precise preparation and assembly of sliding wardrobe doors and the cutting/prepping of MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard) panels, ensuring every product meets our high-quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cut, edge, and prep MFC panels to specification using workshop machinery (beam saw, edgebander, CNC, etc.)
- Assemble sliding wardrobe doors, cutting glass, h-bar, tracks, wheels, and MFC panels
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and accurately
- Check components for quality and correct measurements before final assembly
- Load and unload deliveries of materials and finished goods
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment
- Follow technical drawings and cutting lists
- Work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures

**Skills & Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience working in a workshop or manufacturing environment
- Confident using woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Full UK Driving Licence (21 & Over due to company insurance policy)

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience working with sliding wardrobe systems, cabinetry or carpentry
- FLT license or experience operating forklifts/pallet trucks
- Basic knowledge of materials such as glass, mirror, and MFC
