**Location**: College Lane Campus, Hatfield
- We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious Senior Research Assistant (Support for Ageing and Living with Long Term conditions) to support the research fellow and theme lead for programmes of research and implementation relating to Support for Ageing and Living with Long Term conditions (SALLT) in the East of England. The role is funded by an applied health research grant from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

**Main duties and responsibilities**
- The role supports the research team in achieving project milestones through data collection, analysis, and contributing to the theme’s work. Regular engagement in project meetings ensures steady progress and effective collaboration.
- Post-holders may actively contribute to peer-reviewed publications, academic presentations, and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching responsibilities may extend to relevant undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Additionally, assisting with project administration, final project reports, and dissemination of research findings will be key aspects of the role.
- This role offers valuable experience in developing health and social care, and research at local, regional, and national levels, with the potential to influence health, wellbeing, and services in the East of England. Beyond the project, post-holders will be encouraged to participate in seminars and academic events, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the research community.
- The role will be based within the Centre for Research in Public Health and Community Care (CRIPACC). Travel across the East of England and collaboration with other regional Universities will be expected.
