The Speech and Language Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to cover an exciting adult stroke and neuro opportunity in a world famous hospital in Central London. The successful Speech and Language Therapist will work with the stroke and neuro adult SLT services providing assessment and management for patients with communication and swallowing disorders across neurosciences, stroke medical, surgical and care of the elderly wards. The post holder will need to be adaptable as may work in different settings dependent on service needs.

**Position**: Speech and Language Therapist

**Banding**: 6/7

**Location**: Central London

**Hours**:Part Time and Full Time Hours Available

**Duration**: 3 months (with potential for an extension).

**Essential skills**:

- HCPC registered
- Relevant Speech and Language Therapy qualification
- Experience working in intensive care and with patients with a tracheostomy is desirable but not essential
- Must be dysphagia trained
