This is an exciting opportunity to support patients in an acute hospital setting working primarily with stroke or neurosciences caseloads.Whether youre looking for full-time or part-time work this flexible role is ideal for a Band 6 or 7 therapist with a strong background in acute adult care and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred therapy.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide assessment diagnosis and intervention for adults with communication and swallowing disorders with a focus on stroke and neurological conditions.Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Contribute to early supported discharge planning and ongoing rehabilitation.Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.Engage in clinical supervision audits and service development initiatives where required.RequirementsTo be considered for this role you must have:A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).Current HCPC registration.Proven experience working with adults in an acute hospital setting.Specific experience with stroke or neurosciences patients.Excellent communication clinical reasoning and team collaboration skills.Why Work With UsCompetitive hourly rates.Flexible working patterns to suit your lifestyle.Dedicated support from experienced consultants.Opportunities for contract extensions and ongoing placements.
