Training & Development Administrator

Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) /NHS 111

**Contract hours**: Full-time 37.5 hours per week

Permanent role on NHS Band 3

We are offering a split site/homeworking opportunity

Your main base will be Wakefield Springhill 1, but you will be asked to travel to our other IUC 111 site at Callflex in Rotherham as required.

A great deal of flexibility will be required with this role. Normal working hours will be Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00 but you may be asked to work a few weekends and evenings to support Training and Recruitment in an administrative capacity.

As the Training & Development Administrator, you will work as part of the team delivering effective co-ordination and administrative support to the IUC 111 Training team.

You will have to have strong organisational skills and be able to manage confidential, complex and sometimes sensitive information exercising discretion and upholding high professional standards at all times. You will be responsible for new starters access rights to all computer systems and information required so a good working knowledge of IT is essential.

In particular, the postholder will work closely with the IUC 111 Training & Development Coordinator. You will provide administrative and secretarial assistance, preparing meeting agendas and taking minutes, providing Training packs and collating Staffing records.

You will have to have good communication skills as will be liaising with colleagues internally in IUC and out with in the wider Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

The post holder will work as part of the IUC service in delivering effective coordination and administrative support for the IUC Practice Developers and the rotational NHS Pathways Trainers.

In particular the postholder will provide administrative and secretarial assistance, for example extracting data support for example, the preparation of agendas and notes, taking appropriate follow up action as and when required, preparing presentations, supporting, reviewing and coordinating the training team by gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary
