**Payroll Assistant**

MotorSport Vision (MSV) is the UK's leading motor racing circuit operator, owning and operating six of the country's premier racing venues including Brands Hatch, Donington Park, and Oulton Park. We are now looking for a meticulous and motivated Payroll Assistant to join our team based at the iconic Brands Hatch Circuit in Kent.

As a Payroll Assistant, you will work closely with our Group Payroll Manager to support the accurate and timely in house processing of multiple monthly payrolls across the MSV Group. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in ensuring our people are paid accurately and on time, while also helping to maintain compliance with all HMRC and pension regulations.

You will also be the go-to contact for payroll-related queries and contribute to improving our internal payroll processes. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career in payroll within an exciting industry.

**Duties Include**:

- Assisting with the end-to-end preparation and collation of monthly payrolls (salaried and variable) in line with UK legislation
- Maintaining accurate employee records, including starters, leavers, and contractual changes
- Supporting the processing of statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)
- Responding to payroll queries from employees in a professional and timely manner
- Ensuring compliance with RTI and other HMRC submissions
- Assisting with pension contributions and auto-enrolment duties
- Contributing to the year-end process (e.g. P60s, P11Ds)
- Taking ownership of payrolls in the absence of the Group Payroll Manager
- Training managers on correct and timely submission of payroll data
- Identifying and together with the Group Payroll Manager implementing payroll process improvements

**For this role you will have**:

- Experience in a finance or payroll function
- Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- High level of accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to manage priorities and work independently

**In addition, any of the following would be an advantage**:

- CIPP qualification (or working towards it)
- Experience in hospitality, leisure, or similar sectors with variable payroll inputs
- Previous experience managing multiple payrolls or PAYE references
- Familiarity with IRIS Staffology or similar payroll systems
