Are you an experienced Operations Manager or Site Manager looking for a new opportunity? Do you have warehousing or 3PL experience? Would you like to work for a growing company who will invest in your career development? If so, this may be the role for you.

Here at GXO Logistics we’re looking for a Site Manager to join our Drinks Logistics site in Newton Heath, Manchester. You’ll have 4 direct reports
- 1 x Transport Manager, 1 x Warehouse Manager, 1 x Stock Manager and 1 x Compliance Facilities Manager, witha team of circa 140 colleagues in total.We’re looking for someone who is up for a challenge, who can lead the team to success.

You’ll predominantly work Monday-Friday, however being the Site Manager, you’ll need to offer a level of flexibility
- this is logistics after all.

**Pay, benefits and more**:

- We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £60,000 per annum.
- Company car or car allowance
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days.]

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Ensure a safe operation of distribution and warehousing activities across the relevant geography, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and safe systems of work in line with road transport legislation
- Deliver a high-level service to the customers of GXO Logistics from the transport depot ensuring that key performance indicators are achieved and exceeded
- Oversee employee relations and promote the development of a positive, co-operative and mutually supportive working culture amongst all employees
- Ensure compliance of the operation to the quality systems, industry standards and legal requirements
- Continuously seek to optimise the cost-effectiveness, productivity and customer service levels of the depot through planned and regular communication mechanisms and the proactive accessing of the national ways of working and operating agreements

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- Strong financial acumen - you’ll be responsible for a £5m annual budget
- Experience in managing multi-site operations
- Extensive operational distribution management experience
- Operational management experience in a 3PL company
