Weidmann Whiteley Ltd. is a global leader in the manufacture of electrical insulation papers. Our core competence is the development and production of insulation products for power and distribution transformers. Outside of the electrical industry, our paperis used in such industries as the manufacture of engineered stone.

We are looking for several Production Process Operatives and a Warehouse & Internal Logistics Operative to join our team working 12-hour shifts on 2, 3 or 4-shift patterns incorporating days and nights.

The salary offered is between £23k and £29k dependant on position and training. Overtime is often available for cross training and cover.

Adhering to strict tolerancesyou will produce a variety of finished products to meet customer specifications.

All new employees receive on the job training including the widely recognised Lean Six-Sigma White Belt introduction to Lean Manufacturingtechniques. We aim to continually develop our people and career progression is always open to people with the right attitude and skills.

Essential skills:

- Punctuality, reliability, the ability to work effectively in a team and the ability to work effectively alone, the ability to work to standard operating procedures and to learn. Basic computer literacy.

Skills that will give you a head start:

- Experience of paper or têxtile production or finishing, experience of shift work, experience of warehousing, stock checking, recording stock movements, pendant crane operation, forklift truck driving and materials handling.
