This exciting new role as the Associate Strategic Director of Alliance Integrated Place Partnerships for the North East Essex Geography (Colchester and Tendring) will have responsibility for strengthening and further developing an integrated partnership approach within and across the Alliance with the aim to drive forwards the improvement of health outcomes across the population with a focus on reducing health inequalities.

This new joint post between Colchester City Council and the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (being hosted by Colchester City Council) will enable us to further integrate our transformation work as place-based partners bringing benefit to residents in having improved health and wellbeing.

**Duties of the role**:
As an essential member of the Alliance senior team_,_ you will be responsible for the strategic development and oversight of place-based partnerships across North East Essex. In addition to this portfolio, you will be formal deputy to the North East Essex Alliance Director.

**Qualifications and skills**:
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced leader who understands the importance of place-based approaches and whole systems working. You will have a strong understanding of the key issues related to the drivers of health and health care outcomes and influences of health inequalities.

You will be able to demonstrate partnership working across complex systems or places, system change at a population level and be able to evidence the importance of strategic partnership working in order to improve health and wellbeing of populations and communities.
