We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking individual to join our senior leadership team as Associate Director of Operations.
You will be passionate about improving outcomes for patients and have a flexible inclusive approach to decision making, maximising efficiencies to deliver the best possible patient care. Your facilitation skills will be first class, you will bring together different disciplines, perspectives and backgrounds to ensure everyone is able to contribute and have a voice.
It is an exciting time to join us as we invest £100 million over the next five years to improve our hospitals, including building an Elective Orthopaedic Centre on the Colchester site and development of our Community Diagnostic Centres.
A relocation package would be considered.
The Associate Director of Operations has responsibility for managing all aspects of operational delivery within the Division to agreed quality standards and within the resource and income base available, to support the Trust’s continued development as a clinically led organisation.
**You are rigorous when demonstrating performance and impact**: you are able to demonstrate qualitative and quantitative evidence of continuous improvement to the delivery of services, whilst delivering against key performance objectives and maintaining financial control and rigour.
You will have excellent relationship management skills and will be able to build and develop teams, listening to people, understanding their challenges to arrive at innovative and collaborative solutions.

**Cancer & Diagnostics compromises 6 Clinical Delivery groups**: Pharmacy, Pathology, Diagnostic Imaging, Radiation Services, Breast Services and Cancer Services. Diagnostics forms the foundations of other clinical practice and treatment plans including treatment planning and staging.
Surgery, Gastroenterology & Anaesthetics encompasses 3 Clinical Decision Groups: General Surgery & Gastroenterology, Theatres & Anaesthetics and Vascular & Urology. The key areas of activity include emergency and elective care, inpatient care and day surgical practice.
