Concrete Pump Operator

**JOB PURPOSE**:
Drive concrete pump trucks to and from each project site in a punctual and responsible manner

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Evaluate site conditions and work with contractors or supervisors to park/set up the truck properly
- Operate boom and concrete pump to place concrete in desired locations, placing special focus on site instructions
- Load and unload concrete pump attachments and ensure that all associated tools are used in a safe manner
- Clean concrete pumps at the end of the day to ensure that they remain in good working condition, and to minimise breakdowns and downtimes
- Ascertain that all safety and precautionary measures are put into place before, during and after each project

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:

- Experience operating concrete pumps or similar heavy machinery is required
- NPORS Card
- Enthusiastic, reliable and customer focussed
- Punctual with good communication skills and able to build and retain positive internal and external relationships
- A good level of mathematical aptitude
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Hold a full HGV Licence with Driver Qualification Card and Driver CPC
- Good geographical knowledge would be beneficial
- Flexible in your approach and willing to learn all aspects of the business to carry out various duties

Relevant job experience is preferred.

Pay: £34,406.44-£45,000.00 per year
