**JOB PURPOSE**:
**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To follow up sales leads and generate new business via telephone
- Identify potential new customers and follow up to achieve new sales or where appropriate, book appointments for the Business Development Manager to follow up
- Build on relationships with both new and existing customers
- Ensure that the quotation schedules are kept up to date and current
- Report on competitor information and pricing
- Take card payments at time of order being placed or set up alternative payment methods
- Check the sales and information inbox daily. Action smaller orders and refer all other enquiries to the Business Development Manager/Commercial Director
- You will be involved in taking customer orders and liaise with the Distribution Team for scheduling and delivery
- Confirm pricing for both cash customers and account customers and to ensure pricing is in line with quotations. Once checked, update spreadsheet and export to Accounts for payment
- Produce month reports demonstrating the companies position in relation to targets, budgets and timelines
- Coordinate with transport on aggregate stock level requirements
- In addition to main focus on volumetric sales and deliveries you will be required to field enquiries/ schedule work for pump hire and ready-mix sales as necessary
- When required, you will need to coordinate and take deliveries for all services

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:
A sales focused individual who has the passion and drive to proactively develop our customer base whilst delivering exceptional customer service. You will require experience in sales and be able to thrive in a busy environment and have excellent IT and communication skills. A good understanding of sales and distribution would be advantageous and you will need to be able to work of your own initiative to build new customer relationships.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
