We seek an exceptional **Content Editor **to serve as a written editor of outbound company communications. The role demands a very high level of English-language writing and editing skills, across various formats, from large technical reports to political op-eds and social media posts. You will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining content to achieve our business goals.

**What you can expect to be doing**
- Serve as editor of written outbound products.
- Proofread, edit, and restructure writers’ posts ensuring use of proper spelling, grammar and syntax.
- Improve the flow of documents where necessary; eliminate superfluous sentences and tighten phrasing within content.
- Develop content for presentations and marketing collateral.
- Ensure that the content meets and follows our style guide and is consistent with our company and brand values.
- Maintain consistency of content by using set templates and styles where applicable.
- Follow proposal-writing standards for readability, consistency, and tone.
- Add, update and develop content for company and client campaign websites and social media accounts as required.
- Provide editorial, creative and technical support to team members.
- Work in tandem with the wider marketing function.

What you will bring*
Essential
- Exceptional written grammatical skills in English
- Previous experience in copyediting and proofing of large documents
- Ability to provide and assimilate constructive feedback to colleagues from all levels
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of and interest in international current affairs
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to grasp new concepts

Desirable
- Experience across several web platforms, including WordPress and HubSpot
- Experience undertaking political research or commercial intelligence
- Knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Fluency in another language
