**This is a Specialist Blue Light Worker post working alongside the specialist drug and alcohol service in Buckinghamshire called One Recovery Bucks (ORB). The Blue Light Project is a new pilot project.**
ORB is provided by Inclusion, who as part of a large and modern NHS Foundation Trust have an excellent reputation for valuing and investing in our workforce with services across England including Sexual Health, Mental Health, Psychological Therapies and Addiction.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to shaping this role, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and add to our skilled and experienced multi-disciplinary team. Ideally you will have experience engaging service users, who have difficulties accessing mainstream services. Ideally you will have experience of working within substance misuse, criminal justice or homelessness settings.
As a Specialist Blue Light Worker (AFC Band 5) you will be responsible for assertive outreach sessions into the community and people’s homes, providing engagement and psycho-social interventions to those who are not yet ready to access our main stream service One Recovery Bucks.
