Emergency Department Flow Coordinator

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a team of Progress Chasers / Flow Co-ordinators in the Emergency Department, Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
You will possess a good standard of education, previous experience of working in an administrative or clinical setting and able to keep pace with a fast moving and highly demanding environment. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and be efficient and organised with your own workload.
Excellent communication skills are required as the post holder will support the clinical team to challenge the progress of patients’ journeys with all members of the clinical teams to include Consultants, Nursing, Support Services, Ambulance staff etc.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Supporting all ED Consultants, Nursing and Administration staff to achieve timely care for our Emergency Department patients.
Liaising with other departments in the hospital to follow up patient referrals.
Supporting the Nurse in Charge directly with patient journey's and ensuring all patients are receiving timely care and to reduce any delays which my occur.
