Due to internal moves we have a fantastic opportunity to join the team as a Junior Buyer on our Haircare Category within our Beauty Team.

Reporting to the Buying Manager, within a direct team of Buyers, Junior Buyers and Assistant Buyers, this role will take ownership of our Haircare department.


Your key areas of responsibility will include, working closely with your suppliers to strategise your business, working on exclusive product and promotions. Sourcing new products and brand ranges for the Hair dept.

Building relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and conditions of sales. You will work closely with Broadcasting and Planning to develop show concepts and category opportunities to ensure that your products are demonstrated to their best advantage.

You will also work particularly closely with your product Planner to review the performance of your products and brands, aligning to plan the best way to grow them for the future. Proven experience in managing and coaching junior team members will be highly regarded.

You must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of key areas of the buying role, including margins, profit, sales, inventory management, OTB, etc.

You should be able to demonstrate a strong commercial and trend awareness and a successful track record in buying and a passion for the product combined with strong skills as a merchant.
