Our fantastic HR team plays a vital role in supporting and developing our People and business areas to be able to bring about transformation whilst continuing to deliver the Inspectorates main functions and meet the varied needs of our customers.

A key part of this is the Recruitment Team who work closely with our HR Business Partners and managers to provide expert advice and to deliver an engaging, customer service-focussed recruitment experience. **Job description**:
An average day will involve:

- Providing support and advice to managers and your team on recruitment campaigns.
- Assuring quality of recruitment materials and compliance with Recruitment Principles.
- Maintaining recruitment and onboarding data on Applicant Tracking System and other sources.
- Working with those involved in recruiting, managing and developing Inspectors to improve and implement changes to our selection and onboarding procedures.

**Coronavirus (COVID-19)**We are currently continuing to work flexibly whilst considering the risk of COVID-19, the safety of our teams and the business need to work effectively and efficiently. You should ensure you are able to attend work at Temple Quay House as this is a Bristol based contract but the amount of time doing so should be discussed with your Manager at the earliest opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:**
Essential Criteria**
- Experience of advising on and handling the end-to-end in-house recruitment process with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Experience of interpreting and utilising recruitment data to improve processes, advise stakeholders and improve or achieve outcomes.
- Experience of creating and delivering recruitment plans or campaigns in-house while remaining responsive to change; consulting with managers to plan for short and long-term effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrates a ‘Customer focused mindset’ with experience of building relationships by setting achievable goals, delivering accordingly and retaining attention to detail.

**Desirable Criteria**
- A basic understanding of the relevant current Employment Law and the practical impacts on recruitment.
- CIPD qualified to level 5/equivalent would be beneficial (or willing to study/work towards over time).
