Role Description
We are looking for a scheduler to join our Supply Chain team at our site in Enniskillen.
You will be required to ensure that all materials are in place for production as required. Working closely with suppliers, procurement and planning teams. Placing orders and monitoring proactively, identifying potential issues before they arise and escalatingas appropriate.
This will be a site based role.
Key Accountabilities
- Stock available for production as needed
- Identifies potential issues and opportunities and acts upon them
- Builds strong working relationships with suppliers in order to influence
- Regularly reviewing stock levels
- Placing orders with suppliers within the appropriate lead time and in line with demand and targets
- Projecting future stocking based on forecast
- Managing non-conformance stock
- Inventory control
Skills and Experience
- Degree level qualification would be desirable
- Experience within procurement, planning or logistics is preferred but not essential
- Ability to learn and maximise the use of systems and databases
- Microsoft Office packages including Excel
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Numerically literate and proficient analysing and manipulating numerical information in order to gain insight
- Able to communicate with a wide range of customers - internal and external
- Able to prioritise multiple and changing demands
- Identifies potential issues and opportunities and acts upon them
